Oceania

Even though Oceania is not technically a continent, It is a term used in reference to the countries and islands located in the south Pacific Ocean. The name Oceania is used because these countries and islands are linked by an ocean rather than a continent. Oceania contains the following countries and islands:
1. Australia
2. Fiji
3. New Zealand
4. East Timor
5. Marshall Islands
6. Nauru
7. Kiribati
8. Palau
9. Papua New Guinea
10. Samoa
11. Solomon Islands
12. Tonga
13. Tuvalu
14. Vanuatu
15. French Polynesia
16. Federated States of Micronesia

The indigenous people of Oceania are made up of Australian Aborigines, Polynesian, Micronesia, Melanesians and Papuans. The largest country in this region is Australia followed by New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. I have visited only three countries in this region, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, I look forward to one day travelling more of the Oceania. The amazing beaches are ideal for snorkelling and diving, the volcano’s and spectacular glaciers makes Oceania the ideal destination for nature lovers and adrenaline junkies. I travelled the Oceania for three weeks whilst visiting Asia. I tried to visit as many countries as I could with the time I had. I hope to one day cover all the countries in the Oceania, but I hope you find my guide and advise on the countries I have visited helpful, in helping you plan your trip.
