The Middle East is a subcontinent of Western Asia, Saudi Arabia is the largest country in the middle East and Arabs are the largest ethnic group. African and European ethnic groups make up a diaspora in the Middle East. The Middle East is a myriad mix of cultures and ancient mystic, the birth place of Judaism, Islam and Christianity, an amazing region to travel and explore. Unfortunately however, it’s often given a lot of negative media coverage, which made it challenging at times to explain to friends and family and myself why it would be a good idea to travel the Middle East. The more countries I travelled in the Middle East, the bigger appreciation I have for the people and the fascinating cultures. So far I have visited 6 out of 13 countries in the Middle East, this list does not include countries in Africa and Europe. I hope you find my guide and advise on the countries I have visited helpful, in helping you plan your trip.
