The Caribbean is in the southeast of North America. There are over 7,00 Islands, 13 sovereign states and 17 dependant territories in the Caribbean. The dominant languages spoken are English, Spanish, French and Dutch. I have only travelled one country and one Island in the Caribbean, Cuba and San Andres Island. I would one day like to island hop the Caribbean. Due to the proximity of many of the islands it is very easy to go from shore to shore, exploring the turquoise waters and pristine beaches. My experience of Cuba and San Andres have me hooked to one day complete all the countries in the Caribbean and some more of the islands.
